Zoning Administrator
The VILLAGE OF LEXINGTON is accepting applications for the position of Zoning Administrator for the Village of Lexington. This is a part-time position that will be tasked with administering and enforcing the Village’s Zoning Ordinance as written. Tasks include but are not limited to; reviewing applications and site plans, making site inspections, issuing land permits for residential and commercial districts, making periodic site inspections of the Village to determine Ordinance compliance, answering complaints on Zoning Ordinance violations, and the ability to learn to perform all other duties asked of the Village Manager and President. Additional requirements include; a high school diploma/or its equivalent, the ability to thoroughly familiarize the Village of Lexington Zoning Ordinance and related forms, the ability to keep accurate records, and the ability to understand architectural plans, construction documents, blueprints, and site plans.
