What We’re Known For

Weather

Lexington MI weather is typical Michigan: cold and snowy in the winter and delightfully warm in the summer.

Expect temperatures to range from 70 F to 80 F during the day from June-September. During the summer months, mornings and evenings may be cooler; typically lower 70 – 60 F.

Beaches

In addition to the beaches in downtown Lexington, there are many beaches both north and south along the Lake Huron coast.

From Port Huron north along highway M-25 to Port Austin at the “Tip of Michigan’s Thumb,” you’ll find Michigan at its best: turquoise-striped water and lots of sand.

As you travel farther north, you’ll encounter spectacular bluffs overlooking Lake Huron and inviting towns like Port Sanilac, a Michigan harbor town.

The shoreline becomes a bit wooded as you head north along the highway, but you can catch glimpses of the beautiful blue Lake Huron shoreline that beckons you.

Watch the Sunrise

Facing east along the Lake Huron coast, Lexington catches all of the sun’s beauty as it rises up and out of the water in the early morning hours.

If you’re lucky enough to catch the sun coming up on Michigan’s “Sunrise Side,” you’ll have memories for a lifetime.
